SPI Industries didn't begin as a company. It began as a decade of work translating laboratory breakthroughs into shipped industrial product — across cathodes, thermal films, surface coatings and combustion additives. In 2024 it was incorporated as a foundry.
We pair nano-materials science with line-side engineering. We co-develop the formulation, qualify it inside the partner's existing process, and hand back hardware that ships in their product — at lower dose, higher yield, and inside their compliance envelope. Programs are now in market with Magppie and Grafillium.

SPI Industries works with top-class scientists drawn from the world's most renowned research institutes. Our bench includes materials chemists, surface engineers, combustion specialists and characterisation leads — most with a decade or more of post-doctoral and industrial R&D experience.
Each program is staffed against the partner's specific brief — formulation, line-side qualification and characterisation handled by the discipline that fits, not by a fixed team.
